Over 11,000km away from its origin in Lagos, Nigeria, the unmistakable rhythms of Afrobeat, created by Fela Kuti, have found a new home in the prairies of Alberta. This documentary follows the stories of Ivan Touko and Mpoe Mogale, who, in search of their own identities and a sense of belonging, have played a pivotal role in nurturing and participating in the creation of entire communities connected through music and dance.
